  1. Ooohhh-- be cautious!! Yahoo is not the place to seek financial advice, nor is it the place to discuss your private matters. There are predators lurking about.
  2. Aloha from Down Unda! Real estate is the most secure with a managed fund in a reputable firm. Nothing is safe enough at our age! Best wishes~
  3. i am working in stock market for the past seven years with my experience i can tell u one thing " dont invest hard earned money in stock market " because when ever the market crashes your investment dissolves before eyes which may raise BP diversify the investments some in land some in Mutual fund which has less risk than investing directly in stock market some in gold, may your returns somewhat lower but live a peacefull life
  4. My personal advice to you in the given situation is not to invest in Equity or Mutual Funds. Better invest in Fully Secured funds of your choice which gives you monthly interest for your expenses and living a tension free life.
  5. at 58 u r not a senior citizen. anyway investment in mutual funds is safer than that in share market. but u have to study and choose the better ones. one thing more , u will have to keep it in mind that past performance can not be criteria for investing.
  6. I would not advise taking advise from on-line. At least don't take it too seriously. You can always listen but you never know what kind of person is giving you advise. What Jack the Giant Killer said is very true
